My favourite series. Ever. Taken on a deserted beach in Paphos, Cyprus. A coptic gale blew mercilessly that day and everything billowed. Meaning that crazy people like us who decided to go to the beach had it to ourselves. Bought the dress the day before at an Indian shop in Nicossia-- typical of me to go to Cyprus and buy Indian stuff-- when we both excitedly picked this one out, bowled over by the peacock print. (And fast forward to today, I am regretting not buying MORE dresses pfft). Whilst packing for the trip I discovered this pair of earrings that I bought in April but forgot. Gladiators have pretty much been my only heel-less footwear, frantically grabbed in Sing before I came to Cam, in line with my "I won't spend more than S$10 for flats" philosophy. But I love gold, and I can't really be bothered what's bang-on-trend and what's relegated to the annals of fashion history because after all, they all follow cycles and following it doggedly is too tiring, eventually putting oneself in the gridlock of a pigeonhole. So the winds blew, the sun was setting, the waters were glistening-- the perfect backdrop for an elementally-inspired shoot. Wind, water, earth, fire.

These pictures are so unbelievably beautiful. It might be because of the colours in your dress but the scenery and what you are wearing complement each other so well it looks like you naturally belong on that beach.
