I was pleasantly surprised and then massively delighted to receive a pink package in the mail with an incoherently-laid out address. . which immediately meant it was from Lulu. , rolling on proper Cuban-seamed stockings and a slick of red lipstick later, I slipped my feet into a pair of new taupe pumps feeling like a complete Goddess (it's the parfum's effect-- how can you not feel all divine when scented with frankincense?) I headed out to meet D coming back from work, feasting on a great Italian dinner. "New shoes, huh? Weren't you supposed to be working on your thesis?", I was mock-chided with a wicked smile. Well, it is beyond-fab that there is a shared adoration of shoes ♥
