Quick post before I dash off to bed. Been an extremely stressful two days courtesy of dealing with cackling hags and conniving bitches, but meticulous research and the orchestration of a Don'tFuckWithMe look (matte red lips does the trick haha) coupled with careful maneuvers has seen it resolved. Two days of stuff that I could potentially do have been wasted though. Oh well. So rather than do up a severe Don'tFuckWithMe style, here are photographs taken the other week of a gorgeous dress I found at the (expensive) vintage shop. Well, I had a little gripe about the price but it was so beautiful-- and then I start to miss the jumble sale I used to haunt at Singapore's SPCA where I could grab books and clothes for 30-cents (that's about £0.12!). June and I were rummaging around the store and picking out all sorts of fancy clothes. I was wondering just what was decadent enough that I'd like yet not too unwearable (i.e. the sort where you have to throw a vintage cocktail party just to wear it) when this fell on the floor. It's black, sheer and chiffon, and can also be worn as a thin coat. Most of all, it is dreamy and classy, a sure contrast from the wacky zebra jumpsuit. And evokes a 50s vibe. My favourite era. Of course I had to throw in one of my favourite pairs of shoes, my stunning YSL Tributes. I was so happy to get them, having dreamed of them for so many years. Shiny and with a tantalising dangerously-thin heel, it props one up by six-inches instantly. Larger-than-life beaded earrings, blunt bangs, coral lips and dark liquid eyeliner to wrap up the look. It was night time and so the best place to take photographs would be my bathroom. Complete with bowl and towels. Consider these as . . props. Lol.'
